Be the Positive Reflection You Want to See in the World

Be the Positive Reflection You Want to See in the World

#btprywtsitw

This is the way truly to lead from the inside out. Our world today is lead and
be led. It can be challenging to discern who is being authentic, courageous,
and an inspirational influencer – the best qualities of a leader in my opinion. It
is in our highest and best interest to truly raise the vibration and influence as a
collective.

I have been looking at what we are being fed by media, our leaders and how
society functions on a day to day level. It would be inauthentic of me
not to say that I am not comfortable with how we have been shaped as a
culture by our external surroundings and the information that influences our
decision making.

I wrote this to guide and help you to create, inspire and influence in your own
way and to shift your environment to the most positive reflection of what you
want to see in the world.

So here it goes:

I ask you to think of a leader in the world (past or present) that has shaped
and shifted your beliefs, and who has raised and elevated your spirit to inspire
rather than retreat.

Now think of how they did that and why it is important to you?

Write this name at the top of a piece of paper as your #1 ‘Inspirational Influencer’.

Create a list of 3 more people who are inspirational to you, why and how.

(Essentially rinse and repeat the above exercise).

I want you to illuminate the attributes of this leader and look at how you can adopt them into your day to day. Take one thing from each leader and practice it daily.

Here’s my example:

Martin Luther King:

He was passionate, dynamic, a great speaker and influenced through inspiration. I have adopted that in my life as a way of BEING. When I feel like I just don’t want to wake up I think about him and how I am being, and shift my bad ‘tude to a good mood.

It’s that easy. Adopt this. Make it apart of your day to day Be consistent and soon you will ‘Be the positive reflection you’d like to see in the world”

Inspire others and start influencing now:

We are what we eat; Physically and Spiritually!

We are what we eat; Physically and Spiritually!

When we think about food we think of grocery stores, restaurants or fast food. The food that we consume causes so many different emotions to stir up inside of us. Food can make you happy, sad, depressed, uncomfortable, and even angry….(with a little heartburnJ). Being that we are always contemplating what to put into our bodies, how much thought do we invest into how we feed our mind and soul? To feed your mind and soul means seeking knowledge and understanding to grow spiritually as well as personally and professionally. GOOD words and GOD’s word is like food for your spiritual being. Prayer is therapy for your soul and meditation for your mind. One should never stop seeking the answers to the questions they have and the knowledge that will fuel their next steps.

During difficult times, we can depend on our spiritual knowledge to strengthen our faith and restore our beliefs in our creators power and HIS ability to lead us out of the darkness. We are given all of the tools and resources necessary to build an abundantly balanced life. How are you strengthening you mind and soul? Matthew 6:33-34 (New American Standard Bible) reads, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.”

Your physical body must be nourished with healthy foods and daily physical activity to stay energized and in good shape. The choices that we make in our 20’s and 30’s, will affect how our bodies treat us, in our 40’s, 50’s and beyond. In saying this, we must realize that one day, our physical being will return us back to dust but our spiritual being will search for a dwelling place. Will you be lost?

Take the time out to start reading and educating yourself. Pray for peace and understanding. Be patient and GOD will guide you down the right path. Ask GOD to speak to your heart and learn to patiently wait on guidance.

Refinement

Refinement

Refinement is defined as the improvement or clarification of something by the making of small changes; the act of making something pure. As we enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the kids play, we are aware that soon the season will start to slowly transition from summer to fall. We will start to notice small changes in the air and nature all around us. Take this time in the heat of summer to start refining yourself. What bad habits are you hiding? What impurities do you need to remove from your heart and soul?

When we are unable to completely understand what is holding us back from our destiny, we cannot begin to develop a strategy to remove those unwanted impurities from our lives. It is important to be aware of the world around you at all times. There will be negatives and there will be positives. The importance of your struggle dwells in how you react to these situations. When you are faced with a personal issue that brings you heartache, do you lash out at others? Do you lose faith and turn away from the Creator? Do you block out the ones that love you, only to partner up with the ones that have the least interest in what’s best for you? These are the questions that you should start asking yourself as you refine and polish your spiritual relationship with GOD and your individual relationship with yourself. Am I walking my truth?

In walking in your truth, you have to take a strong, hard look at yourself in the mirror. Am I being the best friend to myself that I am to others? What changes can I start making today that will positively affect my tomorrow? Refinement starts with small changes that will significantly impact our lives in the long run. What changes can you make today? Sit down and start a list. You don’t have to finish it today but start it today so you can began refining your tomorrow. Let’s talk!

Celebrating Your Independence

Celebrating Your Independence

With the 4th of July on the horizon, many of us are making plans to be with our families or taking a short vacation in the sun. If you really sit down and think about it, independence has such a deeper meaning than the historical one that we have been taught. We are living in a country that has so many different cultures, religions, and expectations, how do you find your true self among all the learned behaviors we have adopted? Those behaviors or ideas of how you should walk, talk, act and believe, are embedded in us at birth. So at what point in your life do you decide to break free from the things that you were taught to declare your own spiritual independence? GOD is the creator of all. The beginning and the end. If you truly decide to seek him and his wisdom, you will begin to find yourself and understand your real purpose. You will know when to wait and listen for his voice and when to move.
As a child you are taught the beliefs of your parents. You grow up with some ideas of how life begins and ends. Some are taught love while, unfortunately, others are taught hate. Sadly, some are taught nothing at all and are left to figure it out on their own. Learning to discover your own independence allows you to be free of the expectations of others. Your personal relationship with GOD has nothing to do with anyone else’s journey. It is your path to follow. While on this journey, you will laugh, cry, scream, become frustrated and even have thoughts of giving up. The gifts that you will pick up along the way will bring you to a better understanding and a deeper, more intimate relationship with your creator. These are gifts that have no price tag; because they are priceless.
Please don’t think I am not writing this from experience. I’ve been through some things in this life, where the average person may have just given up. There have been times when I have questioned my own path and if I was going in the right direction. There have also been times where my path may have started out in one direction and then ended up going another. I have had failures just as well as I have had accomplishments. No, I will not say that I have enjoyed all of my failures, but I try to learn from each mistake and I seek the wisdom to not make that same mistake, twice. We are all human and we make mistakes. Don’t beat yourself up! Learn from your errors and move on. Dwelling on it halts your independence. That is not the life that GOD wants for us. He wants us to be self-aware and aware of the world that is going on around us. While you are planning to cookout on the grill and play in the pool with the kiddies, set aside some personal time to start seeking your own personal independence and connection to the direction you’ve been walking. I promise you, it will change your life and it may just change your path! Happy Independence!

The Importance of Having a Healthy Mind, Body, and Soul

In this day and age, people are focusing more and more on healthy eating. Some of us have good genes, a high metabolism, and a little bit of luck; for the rest of us, it can be a struggle to nourish our bodies with the proper nutrients to survive and live a long, healthy, and happy life. While we are focusing on our body, are we giving that same time and attention to our mind and soul?

Yes, the mind and the soul are definitely interconnected but both words have slightly different definitions. An excerpt taken from the book The Laws of the Sun, states:

“Human beings consist of a consciousness, a spirit and a soul, all of which were created through the will of God , and the central core of the soul is the mind”

The mind is considered to be the center and the foundation of your soul and your spiritual body. Certain areas of the mind govern will, emotion, intellect and reason. These areas must be fed and kept just as healthy as your physical body. This can be done through meditation and relaxation therapy exercises. It is important to cleanse your mind and de-stress your life as often as possible. Our thoughts can sometimes materialize so it is important to keep a positive mind, even during trials and tribulations in our lives.

The soul dwells inside of the physical body. It is made up of your inner spirit. Your soul will live on long after your body is gone. So how do you feed the soul? By seeking knowledge, faith and understanding. Wisdom is truly power and we were put here to be wise beyond our years and to assist each other down this path called life. By gaining knowledge and seeking wisdom, we unlock our GOD given powers of understanding. He has already instilled within us all of the things that we need to be great, so why not use them?

The mind, body and soul are uniquely connected and must have a healthy balance in order to live a stress-free, successful life. This is not to say that you won’t experience stress but you will learn how to deal with it on a deeper and more spiritual level. Learn how to balance your body and soul and free your mind!

The Choice

Read at The Magic Happens Now as well!

The choice is yours.. you’ve heard that before, right?
The choice is yours to be free. To choose freedom. But so often we adhere to that little voice that tells us “ No, stop” you’re not good enough” “no one is going to listen to you” “buy from you, why would they?” “Who wants to hear what you have to say” and so forth and what happens? We become exhausted and lack luster in a world that doesn’t support our hopes, dreams and desires. We become STUCK. But the truth is we choose to be stuck. We are all born with infinite talents. We have all been given inalienable rights to prevail. Yet we don’t take part in them..Instead we choose to be distracted by that the mundane, the routine, the safe. Never throwing ourselves into feeling and vulnerably, expressing the essence of who we really are and why? For what.. So that we don’t “feel” judged and worse don’t actually connect to people on a deeper level letting them know who we really are.

This disconnected behavior enables us to feel and more importantly to love. It’s a travesty to our society as human being walking around cold and burdened by the jail we put ourselves in. So what if we could give ourselves permission to be unencumbered. To feel, to connect, to love, to engage without boundaries. To awaken the essence are who we really are why we are really here and what we are to really do.. to align with that passion that sparks a fire so deep inside that the flame wakes us up in the morning with such vigor to rise and awake to the world of opportunity and puts us to sleep dreaming of the next moment and acknowledging ourselves for playing full out throughout the hours of daylight, the hours we were able to fully be present to have this experience. To have such a purpose that nothing and no one can or could stop you.

The seed that your creator planted uniquely inside of you, That specifically can bear YOUR fruit for all the land to experience. What would that be like? To be alive to our passion, awake to our purpose and fully present to the moments that our creator put us here to take part in. And in those moments to expand and slow down to the stillness the quiet the amazement of each breath flowing out of our tiny little nosrils and into our large expanding lungs. Even this kind of simplicity is a miracle.

Yes my friends this is choosing a life worth living, being present to record your life’s stories worth sharing and opportunity to connect not only to others but to yourself on the deepest level of realization. This actualization, this desire for self-fulfillment, for more than what is seen, the yearning for expression in its fullest design is all in a choice. And this LIFE my friends is a Journey to discovering the walk it takes to the path of signing up, being aware and making the chose to be free.

This is my declaration to you world. What is yours?
