Gratitude and Grace

Gratitude and Grace

As the Peak Performance Expert, I help people remove the mental limitations that prevent them from achieving greater success

One of the main emotional blocks I see among my clients and others, time and time again, is this: a diminished capacity for gratitude.

We, as a society, seem to have forgotten what it means to receive with grace. To experience and express gratitude, which is a blessing in itself.

In fact, we’ve replaced the practice of gratitude with a negative mindset, that of dissatisfaction. We spend each and every hour striving to do more and be more without taking a moment, a mindful pause, to give thanks to the universe and our Creator for all the resources we already have.

Instead, we barrel forward with our heads down, focused entirely on the end result rather than the present moment that is perfect just as it is.

In fact, it is God who reminds us of our innate perfection. Not only is this moment perfect, but we too are made perfect in His image. God also reminds us that generosity is part of the natural order. Romans 8:32 speaks of the grace that comes with giving and receiving:
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32
The good news is that you can beginning practice gratitude in the here and now. You can give yourself permission to feel joy in receiving the gifts of the universe. When you open your heart to this energy, you will only ever attract positive things.

Greet each moment with your palms up. You can think of palms up in a figurative way, signifying an open-hearted and receptive approach toward the universe.

You can also practice this position literally by sitting in meditation with your palms up. Mindfully consider the things in your life that you’re grateful for. We often take the things in our lives for granted, so now is the time to pause and give thanks for the small things that give our lives meaning will in turn bring those larger gifts we desire i.e. abundance, prosperity, peace of mind, high quality relationships, strong communication skills.

When you practice gratitude, it becomes habitual, something that comes naturally to you. You are in effect creating more life-affirming energy that sustains you rather than depletes you, as I’ve explained in another article about the laws of biocentrism.
Here’s another way of putting this elegant, simplified truth. When we appreciate even the smallest things, such as a kind gesture or the check in our hand, our liveliness quite literally appreciates. It leads to an endless, abundant energetic flow, an increase in the value and positive meaning of our lives over time.

Energy attracts like energy. If you’re ready to begin the life-altering practice of transforming your current energy in new, positive, elevating waysreach out to me. I look forward to beginning that journey with you!
Rebrand Your Business, Rebrand Your Life

Rebrand Your Business, Rebrand Your Life

Personal branding is a way of signaling to others what your unique identity, vision and values are. It’s an authentic revelation of all the things you have to offer the world.

What happens when those values or aspirations change? What happens, and how do we take the next step in our personal or professional growth? That’s where rebranding comes in.

To rebrand is to realign ourselves and our goals by harnessing new, revitalized energy. We grant ourselves new possibilities, new inspirations, and new joys. Simply put, to rebrand means to evolve.

Many people are afraid of change, even though it’s an instinctual, bioenergetic process that’s required for our spiritual growth. We are beings made of energy. We’re driven to evolve. Just like the energy that comprises us, we are constantly in motion. When we harness that powerful, catabolic potential we discover this exciting fact: that we are in an upward-trending spiral toward our highest calling.

Rebranding involves opening yourself up to new opportunities with optimism, and this mindset attracts the very best things in life. Whether it’s a new set of dedicated clients, a new service that’s in alignment with our deepest-held values, or a stronger, more supportive networking circle, we rebrand because we’re working toward something greater than we imagined before.

Energy is just like that. In an earlier blog post, I explain how altering your mindset can physically change your reality, even your biological makeup! This is exactly what rebranding does. An example of this is the branded color scheme. Branded colors are evocative of the emotional energy that’s authentic to your identity and your mission. When chosen wisely, these colors transform the attitudes of everyone who comes in contact with your brand and attracts likeminded, positive energy.

The power suit is another example of this phenomenon. A power suit is a tailored, signature work outfit meant to exude a strong sense of leadership. When you put on your power suit, you feel more confident and successful, which in turn transforms you into a person who is actually – not just potentially – confident and successful beyond their wildest dreams.

People will often rebrand themselves because their old ways of self-marketing aren’t working. Rebranding, however, is more than just a way of attracting better business. An authentic personal brand has the power to attract all the positive resources in the universe. When you change your energy, you change your material reality.

That is the purpose and magic behind rebranding. If you’re ready to embrace change, reach out to me, Amy D, Peak Performance Expert. We’ll begin that journey today!

How To Let Go

How To Let Go

Letting go is easier said than done. We know intuitively that it’s the best way to create and sustain peace in our lives, but a commitment to surrender can be challenging.

The rewards are great for those who take on that challenge, however. When you commit to surrendering to the givens of existence, you are essentially providing a space for the universe to work its magic.

If you step out of the way, God will take control. But the remarkable irony is that He would have done it anyway. There is literally no point in maintaining the illusion of control.

Our habitual control often takes the form of planning, plotting and scheming. We react in this way because we’re afraid that surrendering our control will lead to a total collapse of our Self.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Our anxious reactions distract us from our deepest needs and desires. They cause us to expend enormous amounts of energy on fruitless, short-term gains, when we could be working toward sustainable success in all that we do. We could be providing a space for miracles – fortuitous opportunities – to occur in our lives.

So how do you surrender? How do you learn to trust the universe and all its synchronicity?  Here are some practices to get you started.

  • Discover or recover your sense of purpose. Find out what drives you, and what your most profound needs and desires are. The rest is excess.
  • Act in accordance with your deepest-held values. Sometimes we maintain habitual control over parts of our lives that don’t even matter to us. Learn to be in mastery of your intentions first before clinging to those insignificant goals.
  • Test your reality. We often repeat our negative reactions, because we’re committed to the illusion that we’re in control – that our attempts to manipulate the universe are working. Experiment with “letting go” and see what the results are. You’ll find that the most miraculous events happen when you surrender.
  • Allow for more space in your lifeCarving out time for yourself is an enormous part of surrendering. When we fill our schedules with things that aren’t in accordance with our deepest values, goals and desires, we are essentially putting our lives on hold.

Surrendering to the givens of existence provides a liberating space for you to take risks, have fun, and work toward your highest achievements in every aspect of your life.

Are you ready to let go of control, and allow yourself to arrive at the place you were meant to? If so, reach out to me, Amy D, so that together we can begin the process of achieving your highest growth potential!

Discovering and Accomplishing Your Life’s Mission

Discovering and Accomplishing Your Life’s Mission

For some of us, integrity is one of the highest of personal values. To speak our own truths, that come from within our open heart, is what allows us to continue our path toward self-realization. By practicing integrity in all that we say and do, we ensure that our greatest mission in life will be  fulfilled. That mission is to bring our unique gifts and talents to an ever-receiving universe.

Let me show you several ways you can remained focused and dedicated to your life’s mission.

Take Other People’s Opinions With a Grain of Salt

Sometimes other people’s narratives or perceptions of how we are can distract us from the truth about ourselves. While the beliefs that others have may be enlightening in some ways, in that they reveal different sides of ourselves we may have been blind to, sometimes those beliefs are false and get in the way of our highest calling. Those beliefs are a distortion of what we actually stand for, in our heart of hearts.

Accept the opinions and beliefs that others have about you as information, not hard-and-fast truth. It can be helpful to hear how you are perceived by others, but it can also hinder you. Don’t let it.

Claim Who You Are

By claiming who you are, as a unique, un-repeatable miracle of God and the universe, you can better visualize what your mission in life is.

Here’s an exercise to help you. Write down a series of affirmations that lay claim to this powerful, positive energy that is yours. In one of my videos, I give you an example of a specific writing exercise that, while short, will help you visualize the qualities that make you a superhero, a person on a exhilarating mission.

Are you godly? Are you giving? Are you loving? Are you loved? You will never find out unless you ask yourself. Make this a habitual spiritual practice and in time you’ll be able to visualize your mission and regain the energy needed to perform your important service in the world.

Be Intentional and Have Conviction

What does it mean to be intentional or full of conviction, and how does it relate to being on a mission? Intentionality is a word to describe mindful focus. When you’re intentional, you are fixing your mind’s eye on the object in front of you- in this case, your mission. By focusing mindfully on that desired object, you actually align your entire being in the direction of its fulfillment. Intentionality is a psychic commitment that brings you closer to reaching your destiny.

You also need to have conviction if you’re to fulfill your mission in life. What good is having a mission if you don’t feel it with all of your mind, body, and spirit? To live life with conviction, you must walk and talk with integrity. If you do that, I promise you this – fulfillment will come sooner than you ever imagined.

I believe that everyone’s mission in this life is to be the positive reflection they want to see in the world. What that positive reflection is will differ from person to person, depending on every precious individual’s unique, irreplaceable strengths and talents. You can discover what these gifts are, what your mission is in life, and see to it that it is achieved starting today.

Qi’s Connection To Illness

Qi’s Connection To Illness

Have you ever gotten sick and not understood why? Illness is connected to germs and pathogens, right? Have you ever considered that illness might be attached to your emotions? It seems strange. But, for thousands of years the connection between body and emotion has been well known. Different cultures call this energy connection by different names. The Chinese have arguably the most ancient (over 3500 years worth), detailed documentation of this energy system that they refer to as “Qi”.

Qi is composed of the forces of Yin and Yang. If these forces stay balanced a person will remain healthy inside and out. If the balance is disturbed or the energy is blocked, one can become ill. These energies flow through channels in the body called meridians. Meridians are the pathways in which energy flows to nourish the functions and organs the body.

These blockages can occur because of stress, bad eating, negative thought patterns etc. And they can cause you to become very ill. So something as simple as a common cold, flu, or other ailments can be caused by an energy blockage? Yes, that is exactly the way energy flow along meridians works. So, what can you do to release blockages and keep yourself well?

There are many ways in which you can remove blockages along the energy meridians yourself. Exercise, meditation, affirmations, clean eating, getting back to nature etc are all good ways in which you can start to heal yourself. However, some blockages are so deep seeded that you may need to seek the help of a professional to overcome them. Acupuncture and meridian massage are probably the most well known ways to overcome these energy obstacles.

Once you begin to understand how these meridians function and how they connect to specific parts of your body, you can begin to remove blockages and move past emotions that may have been holding you hostage for years. If the DIY methods I recommended don’t get you where you need to be, reach out. I am here to help you remove these obstacles and clear the path to better understanding and healing.

How To Alter Reality To Benefit YOU

How To Alter Reality To Benefit YOU

“Whatever you can dream, you can do.” You’ve heard this statement before, but did you know it that it’s an actual fact about the universe? Each of us has the power to alter reality through our thoughts.

History’s brightest geniuses, from Steve Jobs to Henry Ford to Martin Luther King Jr., have changed the course of our world in dramatic ways. They were able to do this  because they understood that there are two kinds of reality: perceived reality and objective reality.

What is perceived reality and objective realityAt first glance, the difference lies between a single individual’s finite perception, and what is “real” or factual about the universe. However, it is subtler than that. Perceived reality can be either individual or shared. It is the reality that grounds our objective experiences of the world outside of us. Perceived reality isn’t separate from objective reality- it is what gives objective reality its shape.

A good example of this is the concept of money. If you stop and think about it, money only exists in our perceptions. While it does take on a physical characteristic- like paper or a plastic credit card- it only does so because human beings have given it that quality. The concept of money, as an equal exchange for something else, is born entirely out of our human imagination.

At the same time, our lives are deeply impacted by issues surrounding money. We spend most of our day trying to accumulate money, so we can either save it in case of a life-altering event, or spend it on the things that matter to us in the moment. Because most humans have accepted money as a real, useful thing, it has becomes an essential part of our objective reality.

Biocentric Theory and the Power of Positive Thinking

There is no limit to how perceived reality impacts objective reality. Quantum physics and biocentric theories of the universe have proven that our perceived reality is the key to unlocking our full potential. Negative perceptions are the only thing that keeps us from ultimate success.

How do you use this new understanding of human potential to make changes in your personal life and your career?

In a recent video, I talk about the power of words to alter reality. It isn’t just what you say that will materialize into an abundant objective reality, but also what you think and what you envision. Take this example:

Negative Perception of Reality: “I don’t have any money.” “I can’t afford that.”

To say you don’t have any money is another way of saying you can’t afford to invest in yourself. It is a negative perception of reality that will prevent you from achieving your highest potential. Instead of reiterating what is lacking, make positive statements about your situation that reflects what you want, what will happen. More importantly, by saying you don’t have the money, you are settling for a limited understanding of your own resources. You are discounting all of the immeasurable resources the universe has already given you that can’t be reflected in your bank account.

Positive Perception of Reality: “I’m working toward having that amount of money in my bank account.” “I will have more money.” “I already have the money. I need to re-assess my financial priorities.” “I have other resources besides money.”

By saying you are working toward a goal, you are acknowledging that it will happen. By acknowledging that you could reassess your financial priorities, you are thinking about money and its symbolic value in a new way. The resources you thought you didn’t have, were always available to you. A new objective reality has been created simply by reframing your beliefs.

Negative Perception of Reality: “I don’t have enough time.” ”

Positive Perception of Reality: “I have all the time in the world.” “I’m re-prioritizing how I spend my time.”

The saying “time is money” is true, in that the concept of time is as malleable as the concept of money. If you waste your energy thinking negatively about the time you don’t have, you will never take the reasonable steps to re-assess how you ought to spend your time. Engagement with those negative thought patterns is literally a time-waster.

These are just two ways that you can alter your perceived reality, and make dramatic changes in your objective reality. If you’d like more assistance in creating a new reality for yourself, based on Biocentric Theory, contact me about my Bioenergetic Sessions.

The only thing keeping your from achieving your every desire and more is the limitation of your own thoughts. Contact me, AmyD, today to break free of these limits, and achieve your highest potential.
