Gratitude and Grace

Personal branding is a way of signaling to others what your unique identity, vision and values are. It’s an authentic revelation of all the things you have to offer the world.
What happens when those values or aspirations change? What happens, and how do we take the next step in our personal or professional growth? That’s where rebranding comes in.
To rebrand is to realign ourselves and our goals by harnessing new, revitalized energy. We grant ourselves new possibilities, new inspirations, and new joys. Simply put, to rebrand means to evolve.
Many people are afraid of change, even though it’s an instinctual, bioenergetic process that’s required for our spiritual growth. We are beings made of energy. We’re driven to evolve. Just like the energy that comprises us, we are constantly in motion. When we harness that powerful, catabolic potential we discover this exciting fact: that we are in an upward-trending spiral toward our highest calling.
Rebranding involves opening yourself up to new opportunities with optimism, and this mindset attracts the very best things in life. Whether it’s a new set of dedicated clients, a new service that’s in alignment with our deepest-held values, or a stronger, more supportive networking circle, we rebrand because we’re working toward something greater than we imagined before.
Energy is just like that. In an earlier blog post, I explain how altering your mindset can physically change your reality, even your biological makeup! This is exactly what rebranding does. An example of this is the branded color scheme. Branded colors are evocative of the emotional energy that’s authentic to your identity and your mission. When chosen wisely, these colors transform the attitudes of everyone who comes in contact with your brand and attracts likeminded, positive energy.
The power suit is another example of this phenomenon. A power suit is a tailored, signature work outfit meant to exude a strong sense of leadership. When you put on your power suit, you feel more confident and successful, which in turn transforms you into a person who is actually – not just potentially – confident and successful beyond their wildest dreams.
People will often rebrand themselves because their old ways of self-marketing aren’t working. Rebranding, however, is more than just a way of attracting better business. An authentic personal brand has the power to attract all the positive resources in the universe. When you change your energy, you change your material reality.
That is the purpose and magic behind rebranding. If you’re ready to embrace change, reach out to me, Amy D, Peak Performance Expert. We’ll begin that journey today!
Meditation has stood the test of time. The fact that people have been meditating since the beginning of human civilization is a testament to its many benefits. Scientific research over the years has proven this. And I have spoken at length about it on this blog many times. But, did you know meditation can help you hit the reset button on your brain? Read on to find out about set points and the power of meditation.
Each of us has a set point for positive and negative emotions. The Set Point Study found that people who are naturally happy have more activity in the front part of their frontal lobes. While those who are prone to anxiety have more activity on the right side of their frontal lobe. When you go through intense events in your life, your emotions shift away from that natural set point.
For example, this study worked with naturally happy people who only recently began suffering from spinal cord paralysis. The study found that those people returned to their natural demeanor after a brief depression. Your brain chemistry will always regress to its natural set point. However, this process takes about 6 months.
It is possible to reset your natural emotional set point. This reset can be achieved through meditation. Participants in the study meditated for 1 hour a day, 6 days week. After 8 weeks, follow-ups showed a change in each participant. They were happier and became more in tune with the emotions of those around them. In addition, their immune system responses improved. With MRI scans, scientists have noticed that people who meditate have larger brains than those who don’t. Elderly people who meditate regularly also lose less gray matter and have a thicker prefrontal cortex. The prefrontal cortex is where your attention and control are determined.
Armed with this knowledge, you can make meditation a priority for your health. Ease meditation into your day, starting with 15-minute spurts. Eventually, you will work up to the 1-hour meditation session per day, 6 days per week schedule used by the participants in this study. If you are naturally anxious or depressed, you can change this set point over time with this schedule and improve your overall quality of life.
If you find it challenging to make positive changes in your life, you’re not alone. It could be due to the HeartWall. When the HeartWall is removed, you connect on a deeper level personally and professionally, experience increased health, have a greater peace consistently and are more abundant. We are often told that our consciousness constructs our own reality, and that its up to us to make manifest our highest calling. But how can we deconstruct the walls or barriers that prevent us from achieving our true destiny?
The answer comes from Robert Lanza’s prevailing theory on how the universe is created. That theory is called biocentrism, and it demonstrates how consciousness is what forms our universe, not the other way around. Up until now, the way we understand the laws of the universe, and the way we participate in our reality, has been limited.
What is Biocentrism?
Quantum physics has demonstrated how biocentrism operates. Everything is made up of atomic matter and energy, including ourselves and the objects around us. Because everything in the universe possesses this potential energy, we can transmute, transform, or change it… if we are so willing. The universe, in this sense, is not an accident but comes into being through our consciousness. We, in essence, create our own reality.
Change Your Mindset, Change Your World
How does this happen? As human beings, we’ve been led to believe that our path is limited. Our minds have been set, by ourselves and others, to believe that we are only capable of achieving the status quo. Because we believe this, our life plays out according to arbitrary rules. Our true destiny may have been Superman or Wonder Woman, but we’ve settled for an alter ego that doesn’t give justice to our dreams.
That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a set plan for us. We do have an ultimate path and a destiny given to us by the grace of God. However, it is up to us to set ourselves at a positive vibration that attracts all of the things God intended for us in His limitless universe.
In one of my videos, I talk about using a dry-erase board to erase our doubts and fears.Biocentric theory supports this ability to erase and re-draw our boundless dreams and aspirations. We can create anything in our field to appear, much like Neo in the Matrix. Neo was able to bend a spoon, all because the spoon- which is made up of energy and matter that can be manipulated- is an object of our own creation.
Living Abundantly… and Beyond
Jim Carrey is a great example of someone who understands biocentric phenomena. In this video, he urgently tells us to believe in the possibility of something bigger than ourselves. Jim Carrey explains to us that his special purpose was simply to make people laugh- and because he did whatever it took to fulfill that special calling, he was able to forge his own destiny… and more. By staying focused on the single most important thing in his life, the universe naturally expanded his vision to include all of the things he’s accomplished today.
How does this work for businesspeople? Although I will always encourage you to hit certain quantitative goals, I also want you to think beyond the numbers- which can serve as just another barrier or boundary. If we go beyond that set number, we can think about our success in terms of everything we do, all the people we influence, and everything we have. We can live so abundantly, that numbers can’t even begin to describe our existence.
