August 2026: Living Fully in This Incarnation

Energetic Themes for August

Authenticity Over Performance
The South Node/North Node shift is asking us to drop the mask of what earns approval and step into what’s genuinely ours to express.

Time as Sacred Currency
The collective is being invited to recognize time (not money, not likes) as the most precious resource and to spend it on what actually feeds the soul and serves evolution.

The Reckoning with the Attention Economy
We’re being asked to examine our relationship with visibility, influence, and validation. This is the wound that needs healing.

What it means to fully live

I was sitting at a restaurant recently with a new friend. We went deep quickly—no surface tension, just diving into the depth of who we really are.

Over her lifespan, she’s become successful across multiple, quite different platforms of her life - From business, to mother, to artist, etc. When I asked her why, she said something that stopped me: she knows what it means to fully live. She touches the edges of what’s uncomfortable. She jumps into the unknown and grows her wings on the way down, landing in places that are nothing short of miraculous.

She’s built all of this by running toward life itself, not avoiding things that are uncomfortable. She spends her time in the fullness, in the expansion, in the risk. That’s what makes her alive.

I started to cry listening to her. Because I felt it in myself—this hunger to live even more expansively, even more deeply. To embrace what a blessing it is to be alive and how much our life matters.

Meanwhile, many of us are still performing or numbing life, still anxious about providing and proving our worth. We’re spending our most precious resource—our time—on things that don’t feed us. Success becomes a cage when applause rewards imitation, when you’re trapped in a cycle that silences your original voice.

Here’s the question: Have you given everything of yourself to life? Have you spent your time in service of your own fullness, your own incarnation? I guarantee 96% of the people reading this will say no. I’d say that about myself too. So now in heres your moment to shift this. What in your being has wanted to be expressed that hasn’t been? Will you make the time, will you make the space, will you choose to let life move through you? This could look like 30 seconds or 30 minutes in order for oyu to give yourself fully to life and allow life to move through you in miraculous and creative ways.

These little decisions to spend 30 seconds throughout the day, consciously choosing to lean into life, add up to make the largest impact in your becoming.

The 18-month reckoning

We’re entering an 18-month cycle that marks a major karmic threshold. The lunar nodes are shifting into Leo and Aquarius, and this is generational. It affects anyone born in the next year and a half. It’s shifting our collective karma.

The South Node in Leo is pulling us effortlessly toward what’s familiar: performance, validation, the constant hunger for eyeballs and influence. We’ve been living in an attention-based economy that whispers a dangerous lie—only visible achievement earns love. Only being noticed means you matter.

The North Node in Aquarius offers something different. Not easy. Will-driven. It’s asking us to abandon the pursuit of external validation and cultivate authentic self-expression that serves the collective.

Astrologer Bryan Colter is direct about this: our obsession with staged outrage, influencer status, being first in AI, the most powerful voice in the room—these are collective wounds. They’re the South Node pulling us backward, keeping us small, keeping us performing.

The cost of authenticity

Over the next 18 months, the invitation is stark: move from mimicking others to expressing your authentic voice. Distinguish between genuine Aquarian individuality—self-expressed, future-oriented service—and its counterfeit, the kind that just sounds original but still serves the same old attention economy.

Colter says this directly: awake people must test any group or leader by asking whether they need conscious contribution or merely loud conformity. True collectives require your actual voice. Deceptive mobs require your obedience.

The cost of this work is expensive. Not in money. In time. These choices cost us the time we could spend looking for a dopamine hit; fantasizing, scrolling, searching for love and approval outside ourselves. The time we could spend racing to be seen.

The sacredness of time

To be human is to be engaged with life in all its aspects, and how we spend our energy. This can be valued as resources, health, and/or time. Precious, finite time in this body, in this incarnation.

And yet most of us treat it like we have endless amounts. We spend it avoiding, pretending, searching for validation outside ourselves. We use it to run from discomfort instead of toward it as our growth edge. We postpone the fullness of our own experience as if there will always be more time.

There won’t always be more time.

The work

This month, identify the limiting belief that’s driving your current choices. Then deliberately express an authentic, uncomfortable truth in one area of your life. Just one.

You’ll feel nervous resistance. That’s the South Node pulling you back toward what’s safe, what’s been rewarded before, what’s earned you love. That resistance is also the North Node’s invitation. this is how you move from your karma (south node) in to your dharma (north node) - it is choosing a new or different way of aligning with life.

We're modeling something for everyone who comes after us. We're modeling what it looks like to choose your authentic voice over applause. To spend your time in genuine contribution, expansion moving from inside out, rather than noisy conformity, constriction moving from outside in. To rebuild the world, one original song at a time.

We are here in the classroom to grow and evolve through Karma into our Dharma. That is the preciousness of this life. When we truly be with what is, when we meet the lessons life offers with full presence, we align with flow and timelessness.

Ten years from now, when we look back at 2026, the choices we made in this moment will matter. We’ll have moved or we’ll have stayed. We’ll have given or we’ll have held back.

The question isn’t about money or success or influence. It’s about time. How are you spending it? Are you fully alive in your incarnation? Are you honoring the sacredness of being here?

What is it that you can offer yourself?

Which in my opinion, is what the world needs.

See you in September.

With love,
Amy
